Nueva Gerona is the seat of government of the Municipio of Isla de Pinos (Isle of Pines) and also the most populated settlement in the island. This city is located between the hills of Caballos and Casas, about three kilometers from the mouth of the Casas river. The Nueva Gerona port is on the Casa river. |
