Municipio of Madruga |
The Municipio of Madruga is one of the twenty six municipios in the province of Havana, Cuba. It is located towards the center and east of the province. This municipio covers a surface of 163 square kilometers. To the north borders with the Municipio of Aguacate; to the east with the province of Matanzas; to the south with the municipios of Nueva Paz and San Nicolás; and to the west with Güines. |
Note: A “municipio” (plural: municipios) is the first political division of the provinces in Cuba. It is similar, in many ways, to the county or parish in which a state is divided in the United States. |
